RAINBOW KINDA DAY

What to say on a day like today? Today ...what kind of day is it? Good? Bad? Sad? Happy? How and who determines this on a daily basis but yourself?  I believe no one really. You can always make a choice even when your "emotions" interfere with your "thoughts", obviously, figuring out which is which is crucial in this process. I am definitely not one to tell anybody how to do this, for  I am one to always put my emotions, or what I believe to be my emotions first. Not necessarily very bright, one could say, yet quite brave. Brave? Yes, brave. After all, living and taking steps based only on logic is safer, while once in a while making decisions based on instinct is a risk that most human beings are not willing to do. Today has been a day where I have learned more about who I am, how I feel and what I want.  You would think that I knew all this by now, but truth is, who knows themselves as well as they should? I could answer with: no one and feel highly confident about it.
Today has been a rainbow kind of day, considering that many people and one of those being me, use colors to describe moods, I can say that today has been a rainbow kind of day. I woke up feeling pink, then a bit green, moved on to blue, transitioned into yellow and red and ended up fading into a baby blue...Some of you can probably identify the mood of those colors in the same way, some of you might just think I am crazy, as others understand the fact that I am very visual and  need color in my life. So, pink is sweet and tender, in a lovie - dovie kind of way, green is because I felt a bit sick due to a drink I had last night, by the way I promise it was only ONE. When blue came along to hit me with a very difficult farewell, I was as prepared as I could be, the yellow and red moments were when I felt a combination of love, embarrassment and anger  all in one, finally baby blue came along to give the rainbow a finishing touch of a tear or two. It was a  good bye , so long, to you my friend, as the song says...and here I am ready for the chance of another beautiful rainbow tomorrow.
People can apply this theory or this comparison as they wish, but take a moment to think about how blessed we are to be able to feel and express emotions to one another this way. Your day doesn't have to be six colors , it could be two, three or ten even, all I am saying is,make sure that you are aware of the fact that even when a rainbow fades, disappears or simply goes away, there is always a chance to see one tomorrow, and to create one as you please.
My day has come to an end, it was baby blue, but I am seeing and feeling the whole rainbow in retrospective of my day. I don't regret one single moment, one single word I said ,a tear or laugh. On the contrary I can only pray that for the rest of my days I have the opportunity to feel as strongly and look back at it all and smile at my wonderful colorful life.
